The Head Pastor of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, has apologised to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Shaributu for his 31st night ‘death’ prophecy.

Owusu Bempah and his entourage visited the Chief Imam on Thursday at his Fadama residence to thank him for his wisdom and ensuring peace and unity in the country.

Also in a show of remorse, Prophet Owusu Bempah presented a huge cow to offer his apology about the prophecy and ask for the peaceful co-existence of the Christian and Muslim communities in Ghana.

In a brief speech, Owusu Bempah told his hosts, including Alhaji Gado Mohammed, Chairman of the Chief Imam’s Advisory Board and the renowned Dr. Amin Bonsu, Chief Executive Officer of Amen Scientific Herbal hospital, that he had come to express gratitude to the peace-loving and fatherly Chief Imam for his timely intervention in the euphoria that followed his prophecy.

On New Year's Eve, Rev. Owusu Bempah told his congregation that if Ghanaians don't pray, the National Chief Imam as well as some prominent politicians will pass away this year.

The prophecy attracted a huge backlash especially from the Muslim community with some youth attacking his church at Odorkor in Accra.

However, in a show of remorse, Prophet Owusu Bempah called on the Chief Imam at his office with a huge cow to offer his apology about the prophecy and ask for the peaceful co-existence of the Christian and Muslim communities in Ghana.
