Three political parties, in the Madina constituency namely the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and the Progressive People's Party (PPP) have expressed their disappointment in manner the Electoral Commission (EC) organised the special voting.

According the party agents the commission should have provided a new list for special voters, particularly those in the security services who did not find names in the register last Thursday for them to cast their ballot.

The however, they said was still using the same register which was used on Thursday, making the process very slow.

Speaking to the Graphic Online in turns; they described today's special voting process as waste of time by the EC.

Meanwhile as at 9:20am 12 persons had cast their ballots, with 376 voters on the register yet to cast their ballot.

In all, 1195 prospective voters were expected to cast their ballot last Thursday but 804 were able to cast their ballot, the Electoral Officer of the constituency, Mr Kingsley Owusu-Ansah indicated
