Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi played a crucial role as Beitar Jerusalem fought to a 1-1 draw with Ironi Tiberias in the Israeli Premier League on Monday evening.

Twumasi, who started the game and played 87 minutes, was instrumental in Beitar's comeback.

He provided a brilliant assist to Silva Kani in the 69th minute, which leveled the score after Ironi Tiberias' Jordan Botaka had opened the scoring with a well-taken penalty in the 57th minute.

Despite Ironi Tiberias playing with 10 men after Yonatan Teper’s red card in the 42nd minute, Beitar Jerusalem struggled to take advantage of the numerical superiority.

Twumasi’s creativity in attack, however, stood out as he linked up well with Kani to secure the equalizer.

The game ended with yellow cards for both sides in the final stages, but neither team could find a winner. With 14 appearances, five goals, and two assists this season, Twumasi continues to impress in the league.

Beitar Jerusalem will now shift their focus to the State Cup, where they will face Maccabi Ironi Acre on December 29th.
