The excruciating pain of losing the election gets worse for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) as millions of dollars spent on their victory cloth have gone to waste.

The NDC spent millions of dollars pre-ordering the cloth for an elaborate victory celebaration as they highly anticipated a one-touch victory for President John Dramani Mahama.

In preparation for that anticipated victory, the ruling party confident that their massive road projects, schools, hospital and bridges would help them to defeat the opposition NPP, ordered the cloth with pictures of President Mahama.

The cloth has the face of President Mahama as well as 'VICTORY. To God be the Glory' boldly written on it.

Other parts of the cloth also shows the mantra of  the NDC for President Mahama: 'Bossu Kenan... Edey be k3k3'.

However Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo's outstanding victory over Mahama following Wednesday polls has rendered the use of the cloth useless as it won't be fit for purpose.

The victory cloth, which is rumored to be worth millions of dollars was set to be released to celebrate the victory of the NDC for the January 7 inauguration.

Nana Addo won the elections with an overwhelming majority votes of 53.85% as against Mahama's 44.40% votes in a third attempt to be the President of Ghana.
