The member of Parliament for the Abuakwa South Constituency, Honourable Atta Akyea has on September 19, visited the Kanda residence of the Vice President of the Republic, H. E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to sign the book of condolence of the latter's deceased mother.

Hajia Mariama Bawumia passed on this month (September 2021) at age 81. Many including the Abuakwa South MP have commiserated with the family.

The affable MP who shares same birth date with the wife of the Vice President, Samira Bawumia did not miss his writings and wordings in the book that will forever speak volume for the deceased.

Clad richly adorned black cloth as tradition demands, Hon. Atta Akyea gently wrote in the book after which he interacted with the bereaved family .
