Power couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z joined forces on Halloween to pay tributes to iconic Black Olympians,Florence Griffith Joyner and Tommie Smith.

The singer, 37, portrayed the late track and field athlete, Florence Griffith Joyner as she dressed up in her ensemble in 1998, which saw her set world records for the 100m and 200m.

Her 48 year old music mogul husband,  Jay Z channeled Tommie Smith during his legendary Black Power Salute, a symbolic protest against racism in the US  at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City.
