THE St Giles Conference Centre on the Spintex Road, Accra, was the place to be last Saturday, August 4, as co-host of Celebrity Fanzone, Chantelle Asante and her love Reverend Kevin Adu, tied the knot.

The couple's traditional marriage came off on Thursday, August 2 at Ofankor.

The venue was a floral paradise which drew celebrities, friends and families of the couple, who came to show their support.

Some of those sighted were long time friend, Joselyn Dumas who was a bridesmaid, Kokui Hanson, Berla Mundi, Moesha Boduong, Nana Aba Anamoah, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, Kafui Danku, Chris Kata among others.

The wedding was beautiful and there was no doubt about the couple's love for each other. Kokui Hanson gave a beautiful solo performance with Pastor Lawrence Tetteh, who has known Chantelle Asante since she was a child, delivering the sermon.

Nana Aba Anamoah emceed the reception and there was a surprise performance from Kuami Eugene who performed his popular songs like AngelaConfusion and Wish Me Well.

There was a moment of laughter as Nana Aba said she couldn't wait for the Proposal of Toast so she could find out how a Pastor found himself a media personality.

The elated couple and their guests partied late into the night and Chantelle was a glowing bride throughout.

Chantelle Asante now Mrs Adu, has been in the media for some years now; she is a producer who has worked on shows like The One Show, This Morning, Boys Boys all on the former Viasat 1, now Kwese Free Sports.

She has also had a stint as an actress, starring in Five Brides on Viasat 1.
