At least 10 people have died after their vehicle was involved in a gory accident Thursday evening.

The accident occurred at Teacher-Mante near Suhum in the Eastern Region on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.

An eyewitness said a trailer truck veered off its way and ran into the VIP bus killing at least 10 passengers on the spot.

Others who sustained various degrees of injuries have been rushed to the Nsawam and Suhum government Hospitals for medical attention.

8 out of the 10 were females and 2 males including 1 and half year old boy.
