Fire has gutted Mankranso government hospital in the Ashanti region in the early hours of Monday, 27th August 2018.

It’s unclear what caused the inferno, but reports say the fire started from the reception of the hospital.

Abusua FM’s Osei Kwadwo reported the fire swept through the hospital in no time, as personnel from the national fire service struggled to douse the raging fire.

There were no casualties but reports say the fire destroyed office stationery, furniture and other valuables belonging to the hospital.
