Presidential aspirant of the Ghana Football Association George Afriyie has paid a courtesy visit to the National Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu.

The former Ghana FA vice capo and his campaign entourage visited his eminence at his residence at Fadama on Thursday to interact and seek spiritual intercession ahead of the 2019 GFA elections set for October 25.

The delegation includes Lord Zico of Bechem United, Yakubu Abdul Salam, Alhaji Raji, Abukari Damba, Apostle Jeffrey Asare.

Mr. Afriyie will face stiff opposition from other astute candidates such as Fred Papoe, Kurt Okraku, Nana Yaw Amponsah and Wilfred Kwaku Osei Palmer.
