Ghana’s Black Satellites held Algeria to a 0-0 stalemate in the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifying at Stade du 5 Juillet 1962 in Algiers Friday night.

Despite creating a lot of chances, the Satellites were unable to find the breakthrough as resolute Algeria defense kept them at bay to keep the tie open ahead of the reverse fixture.

The second leg will be played next week at Cape Coast Stadium.

The aggregate winner of this tie faces either Gambia or Benin in the final round of the qualifiers to Niger 2019.
