Gideon Afo, an industrious son of Aowin, in the Western North region, has successfully graduated with an LLB from the Faculty of Law at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

This milestone indicates that Aowin, precisely Enchi, has, and will continue to produce legends for the Western North and Ghana as a whole.

In a post on his Facebook timeline, Afo extended his profound gratitude to God for granting him peace and wisdom throughout the 4-year stay at the KNUST law school.

"By God's grace I graduated with an LLB from the Faculty of Law KNUST. Its been 4 years already. May the Name of the Lord Almighty continually be praised. Whatever we achieve is to His Glory", he wrote.

Portions of the write-up read: "Special thanks to my Parents, Mr Simon Yaw Boribah, my Lecturers, families and friends, The Church of Pentecost and the good people of Enchi (Aowin). May God continue to take us higher."

Gideon Afo attended Fiaseman Senior High School at Tarkwa in the Western region and proceeded to study English & Philosophy at the University of Cape Coast (UCC). He also completed a Masters in Contemporary English at the University of Ghana. No wonder he is an Anglophile.

Gideon Afo is a proud Pentecost Elder.

Ghanaguardian.com congratulates Gideon Afo and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. It is our hope that the youth in the Aowin land reflect on this achievement and emulate it.
