Accra Hearts of Oak is 108 years old today and as part of activities marking the anniversary the club is at Pobiman for the sod cutting for the construction of the Pobiman Academy project.

Ghana FA President Kurt E. S. Okraku and some members of the Executive Council are at the event grounds to support the phobians.

Some board members of the club are also present at the ceremony including Dr Nyaho Tamakloe as well as the managing director of the club Frederick Moore.

Also present are some former players of the club as well as some members of the first team squad with the technical team headed by Coach Kim Grant.

The space for intended academy is a 120 acre land.
