Accra hearts of oak earned 1-0 victory over Ebusua dwarfs in match day 28 of the GhPL at the Accra sports stadium.
The Phobians dominated the first half of the game with numerous chances falling on their part as Yaw Preko side push for the breakthrough,with Sam Yeboah and Okoro denied by Dwarfs keeper Kofi Mensah.
Foovi Aguidi free kick found the back of net in the second half to secure three points for his side and keep them in a strong contention in the fight for the Ghana Premier League.
Hearts produced a resolute defensive display with Inusah Musah holding onto Dwarfs attackers and could have enjoyed a more comfortable afternoon had it not been for the heroics of Bright Luqman and Joseph Esso.
Dwarfs carried on undeterred as Luqman strike forced Akrugu into a fine save, before Esso shot wide.
The win this afternoon will boost the Phobians unlikely title bid gather yet more pace .
Banners started rolling at Accra sports stadium with some section of supporters chanting #Odotei and Akambi must go.
Ghanaguardian team interviewed some of the fans.
" we don't need Odotei and Akambi, Togbe must sack them because they are the cause of hearts problems."
A lady added; "we love hearts of oak,we don't like Odotei and Akambi, they are killin the team, they sack Kenichi for Traguil and we don't know their reason,Togbe please sack them."
