Ghanaian actor/entrepreneur, John Dumelo and his wife, Gifty welcomed their first child JJ into the world early last week. 

Dumelo made the announcement when he wrote on his Facebook wall with an accompanying picture of him carrying the newborn baby.

Congratulating the couple, Nadia Buari who is a close friend to Gifty shared a maternity shoot of the couple on her Instagram page and wrote:

My dearest bestie.. ...

With endless joy, I celebrate this amazing moment with u and ur husband. All the times we prayed to see such a day as this... I mean, can u believe, ~we now share the same honor of motherhood, which is an excellent exciting experience for all women of virtue.

This little prince of ours u have given birth to as ur baby, has also given birth to u as his mother. You have fought the good fight and prevailed over the travail of child birth.

Just know that, motherhood will change u and challenge u, it will cost u before it prices u, but I’m confident that God has already prepared u for what he had prepared for u, therefore always count of Him for his Grace that is sufficient, then count on ur husband for his readiness and ofcos count on me your bestie, for the basics.
