Ghana Premier League leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko paid a courtesy call on former club chairman and President of Ghana H.E John Agyekum Kufour at his private residence in Accra on Friday ahead of Hearts clash.

The reds were led by the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah and some management members with the playing and technical team.

Ahead of their crunch fixture with Hearts the former President and club chairman give the team some words of encouragement and urged them to go for the win on Sunday.

He also had words with head coach Prosper Nartey Ogum and club captain Abdul Ganiyu.

Kotoko CEO on behalf of the team presented a signed replica jersey to the former President.

The reds have been in fine form this season and have lost just a game away from home this season against Elmina Sharks and will be hoping to add the phobians to their scalp.

Kotoko who are at the summit of the league have a healthy 12 point lead over 8th placed Hearts of Oak.
