Ghanaian hiphop heads enjoyed what was a hiphop Xmas treat from some of the biggest names on the genre from   Ghana and Nigeria  at E.L’s  ‘BAR 3’ concert, at the Accra Polo Grounds on Friday.

The concert, an annual event in honour of his B.A.R mixtape/album projects, saw decent attendance, and was graced by several emerging and established acts including Koo Ntakra, Worlasi, Recognise Ali, Ko-jo Cue, Jayso, Ball J, Tee Phlow, M3dal,, Medikal, A.I, Trigmatic, Cabum, Joey B, Pappy Kojo, Adomaa, and veteran Nigerian rapper and CEO of Chocolate City Music Jude “M.I” Abaga.

According to Gabriel Myesr Hansen of Enewsgh, though it saw a significantly late start,  the show was highly successful as patrons were kept on their feet with E.L’s thrilling performance of songs off his BAR 3 EP . He brought out several acts who featured on the album , most of whom have been listed above.

Usually a mixtape, the BAR project took a different turn this year, with ‘BAR III’  being  a full-fledged album.

The album was preceded by masterful singles as Body Bags, Love God, Portey Dey Be, and Lalafama. It brings together an international array of A-list acts including MI, Khuli Chana, Adoma, Stargo, Teephlow, Gemini, Joey B, Medikal, Ayat and Worlasi.
