Former President John Dramani Mahama, was given a rousing welcome by Ghanaians in Liberia as he arrived in country ahead of the inauguration of ceremony of George Weah.

Mr. Mahama who joined many leaders across the continent to witness the inauguration of George Manneh Weah and Jewel Howard Taylor as President and Vice President of Liberia was welcomed on arrival at the Roberts International Airport in Liberia by some Ghanaians in the country.

The former Ghanaian leader lead an ECOWAS Election Observer Team to observe the Liberian election runoff, which is took place on Boxing Day, December 26,2017.

Other African leaders expected at the inauguration include, President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Guinean President Alpha Conde, Sierra Leonean President, Ernest Bai Koromah, President of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara, President of Togo, Faure Gnassingbé, Nigerian President Mohammad Buhari, Denis Sassou Nguesso, Congolese President, President Jose Mario Vaz, Guinea Bissau, Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of Gabon, Malian leader, Ibrahim Boubakar Keita.
