A failed presidential aspirant in the recently held primaries of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Joshua Alabi has celebrated his 61st birthday in grand style.
Flanked by his wife, Prof. Goski, the former Vice-Chancellor of the University for Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), hosted over a hundred dignitaries at his East Legon residence to mark the milestone.
The former SSNIT board chairman hosted some senior members of the opposition party, media practitioners and some traditional leaders.
Prof. Alabi came second with 3,404 votes representing 1.52% in the polls that saw former President Mahama sweeping the contest to be elected flagbearer.
