Thomas Partey and Emmanuel Boateng were on target as Ghana cruised to a 2-0 win in the 2018 World Cup warm-up against Japan on Wednesday.

Despite fielding a depleted side, the Black Stars managed to overcome 2018 FIFA World Cup bound in front of their teeming supporters at the Nissan Stadium.

Partey, who was given the chance to captain the side in the absence of several top players put the Black Stars ahead at the Nissan Stadium as early as the 8th minute with a beautiful struck free kick on the edge of the box.

Before Emmanuel Boateng converted from the spot in the second half to wrap up the win.
