Players and officials of Real Tamale United (RTU) were given the beatings of their lives on Sunday at Nsoatre in the Bono Region by angry fans of Nsoatreman FC after both sides drew 1-1 in their Zone 1 clash at Nsoatre.

This follows their team's failure to beat RTU in their home match which they deemed a must win encounter.

After the final whistle, fans of Nsoatreman pelted the players and officials with stones resulting several degrees of injuries as they bled profusely.

The injured players and officials of RTU were sent to the hospital for treatment after Police were quickly called to the scene to quell the commotion.
