Egyptian giants Zamalek SC wasted no time in getting down to business as they held their first training session upon their arrival in Kumasi ahead of the crucial CAF Confederations Cup semi-final second leg encounter against Dreams FC.

The training session took place at the Paa Joe Park inside Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, with all 24 players actively participating under the guidance of head coach José Gomes.

The White Knights embarked on their journey from Egypt yesterday afternoon, arriving in Kumasi via a chartered flight, demonstrating their commitment to ample preparation for the upcoming clash.

Having decided to arrive three days before the game, Zamalek aims to utilize this time to acclimatize quickly to the weather conditions in Kumasi, ensuring they are fully prepared for the highly anticipated encounter.

In the first leg, which took place last Sunday in Cairo, the match ended in a goalless draw despite Zamalek's determined efforts.

Now, as they prepare for the second leg at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, April 28, at 16:00GMT, Zamalek is focused on securing a decisive victory to advance to the final of the competition.
