The Western Central Regional Police Command has arrested one suspect and retrieved weapons following a violent confrontation between two rival groups at Simpa in the Nsuaem District.
The clash, which occurred on September 28, 2025, was between a group led by Daniel Cudjoe, also known as Ato Asare, and another faction from Dadwen, reportedly led by suspects Alhassan and Abolo, who are currently on the run.
Police confirmed that the violence escalated into gunfire, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Emmanuel Cudjoe.
Items recovered from the scene included two pump-action guns, three machetes, four motorbikes, a tricycle, and various regalia.
The Command has assured residents that investigations are ongoing and pledged to bring all perpetrators to justice.
