The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of three additional suspects in connection with the daylight armed robbery at a jewellery shop in Adabraka, Accra.
The suspects—Fatao Mohammed, also known as Motorway; Nashiru Abubakari, popularly called Soldier; and Sadick Abubakar Satire, also known as 50 Cent—were arrested on Monday, January 20, 2026, according to a police statement.
Police say the trio are believed to be key leaders of the robbery syndicate responsible for the high-profile heist.
With these latest arrests, the total number of suspects currently in police custody in relation to the Adabraka robbery has increased to seven.
The incident occurred on November 2, 2024, when armed robbers attacked a jewellery shop in broad daylight and escaped with cash and valuables estimated at GH¢7.5 million, causing widespread public concern at the time.
The Ghana Police Service has assured the public that investigations are ongoing and reaffirmed its commitment to arresting and prosecuting all individuals involved in the robbery.
Police have once again urged the public to support law enforcement efforts by providing credible information that can aid ongoing investigations.
