The Ghana Police Service has interdicted five officers for misconduct related to the unauthorised use of police uniforms on social media.

The officers affected are No. 45545 G/Sgt. Samuel Agbemanyale, No. 50300 G/Cpl. Isaac Pipere, No. 51816 G/Cpl. Samuel Agbo, No. 56803 G/Cpl. Charles Oduro, and No. 14494 PW/Const. Elizabeth Dicka Korkor. A press release from the Public Affairs Directorate at Police Headquarters in Accra, dated December 16, 2025, said the interdictions followed findings of breaches involving the use of official police attire online.

The statement added that the officers have been referred to the Police Professional Standards Bureau for further investigations and the application of appropriate disciplinary measures.

The Police Service reiterated its commitment to upholding professional conduct and warned all personnel against actions that could undermine the integrity and public image of the service, particularly on social media platforms.
