A Police rider by name, Sargent Justice Appiah Kubi has met his untimely death after he was crushed to death by a Toyota Hilux pick up in Accra near the Hajj Village bypass.

A Military officer whose name has only been given as Sargent  Aseidu from Burma Camp informed the Police that one of their officers in possession of a Hyundai Santa fe with registration DV- 5670-20 was involved in a gory accident with a Ford Ranger with registration number GV 1342 – 14 and requested for a towing truck.

The Military officer who was calling for help had parked his Toyota pick up in the inner lane notified the police rider by raising his hands just as the rider turned back to look at the military officer he was slammed into by a Toyota Hilux in the inner lane before veering off the road and crushing into an open drain in the outer lane.

He died instantly and his body has been conveyed to the Police Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy while investigations continue.
