A Ghanaian media practitioner, Sammy Kumah, was hospitalised on the night Friday, December 28, after a number of policemen assaulted him at Stonebwoy's BHiM Concert held at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.

Sammy Kumah, popularly known as Sammy Kay, who works at Despite Group's Peace and Okay FMs operates the blog sammykaymedia.com.

While doing his work at the BHiM Concert, he decided to take a video of Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, who was at the concert.

But according to Sammy Kay, a policeman named Williams O. Boateng slapped him for taking a video of Baby Jet.

He replied the slap from the policeman back after he received a second punch from the security officer.

But moments later, three other policemen joined their colleague and started beating him.

Narrating the incident Sammy Kay revealed that the beatings landed him at the 37 Military Hospital.

In a report on Zionfelix, the blogger explained that he was only discharged on Saturday morning after being given some injections and drugs.

Below is the video Sammy Kay captured of Asamoah Gyan at the BHiM Concert which made the policeman, Williams O. Boateng (in the video) and three others beat him.

Sammy Kay's reported assault from the policemen was not the only incidence of violence at the concert as singer Sista Afia was pelted by some Stonebwoy fans while performing on stage.

This follows her decision to perform her 'Jeje' hit track which features Stonebwoy's bitterest rival, Shatta Wale.

But all-in-all, the Bhim Concert which saw wealthy young man mount stage to dash Stonebwoy a whopping $50,000 was a very successful event.
