Presidential media encounter with Mahama scheduled for September 10

President John Dramani Mahama will hold a Presidential Media Encounter at The Presidency on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, starting at 8:00 p.m.
In a statement issued on Monday, September 8, 2025, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the President’s Spokesperson, said the event will provide a platform for President Mahama to engage directly with Ghanaians through the media on key national issues.
The encounter will also highlight the government’s “Resetting Ghana Agenda,” as well as policies and ongoing projects aimed at advancing national development. Journalists from across the country will have the opportunity to ask the President questions on various matters impacting the nation.
The Presidency noted that participation will be by accreditation only, stressing the need for proper coordination and order during the high-profile engagement.
“The Presidency looks forward to a productive and engaging session with the media,” the statement read.
This will be one of President Mahama’s key interactions with the press since taking office, and it is expected to attract significant national attention, given the current political and economic challenges facing Ghana.
