Ghanaian winger Prince Ampem played a key role as Shanghai Port FC recorded an emphatic 4–1 victory over Qingdao West Coast FC in the Chinese Super League on Sunday.

‎Ampem contributed an assist during the match, helping Shanghai Port maintain their attacking momentum against a Qingdao side that featured fellow Ghanaian forward Abdul-Aziz Yakubu.

The 27-year-old winger joined the Chinese club in January on loan from Turkish outfit Eyüpspor and is gradually establishing himself as an important part of the team’s attacking setup.

Shanghai Port dominated much of the encounter, producing a confident display to secure the comfortable win.

For Ampem, the assist marks another positive step in his early months with the club as he looks to make a strong impression in Chinese football.

‎The performance also highlights the growing presence of Ghanaian players in leagues across Asia, with Ampem and Yakubu continuing to represent Ghana on the international stage.
