Former Lecturer of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Professor Peter Twumasi on Tuesday duly launched his first book titled 'Rising from the Farmhouse'.

The current Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Professor Peter Kofi Twumasi launched the book at the IDL Conference Center of KNUST.

The book which has 220-pages on Rural communities and education was Launched based on three reasons, according to Professor Peter Twumasi.

According to him, the book was Launched to honor his Mother. "It is not for any reason, I Launch this book today"

"I'm Launching this book 'Rising from the Farmhouse' to honor my Parents, especially surviving Mother"Also to document the struggles of my parents from Gold Coast to now Ghana"

"Lastly, to motivate current generation to consider schooling as a priority and take advantage of free Education"

Professor Peter Twumasi who holds Degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology spend 8-years in writing the book tittled 'Rising from the Farmhouse'.
