Popular radio and TV host, Caroline Sampson has recounted her traumatic year as she turns a year older.

Caroline who turned 34 on Thursday August 2, 2018 shared with her fans the various health scares she had underdone from January this year.

The award-winning face of YFM Ghana who has been on and off air due to the health complications took time to express gratitude to God through out her horrifying experience.

A thankful and grateful Caroline wrote on Twitter: “2018, from haemorroids(Jan) to cataract(June) to fibroids & cervical polyps a week ago! Surgeries I didn’t see coming. God showed up, he worked harder than the devil on my behalf. 33 went with all the BS. 34 came in good and I am thankful. love lives here. Spread it”

The stunning mother of one early this year revealed she was treating piles/haemorrhoids a sickness known in the local dialect as “Kookoo“.

According to the one time Miss Malaika contestant, the pain she went going through is so excruciating beyond the pain of labour.

Sharing her ordeal via her snapchat account, Caroline totally broke down whilst advising fans to be health conscious in order not to suffer like her.

In May this year, She also revealed that she had cataract removed from her right eye.

Cataract is a clouding of the eye’s natural lens, which lies behind the iris and the pupil. Cataracts are the principal cause of blindness in the world.

As Caroline underwent cataract surgery, the lens inside her right eye that has become cloudy was removed and replaced with an artificial lens (called an intraocular lens, or IOL) to restore clear vision.

Caroline was the first female and the first anglophone personality to annex the prestigious Stars Integration of Culture of Africa (SICA) award held in Cotonou, the capital of the Republic of Benin.

She has been named brand ambassador for various products and services including Woodin, Guinness, Huawei, NASCO, Papa's Pizza, Nokia, Coke among others.
