The founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah failed to show up at the East Legon Police station in Accraa on Monday, March 18, 2019.

The controversial preacher on March 15, 2019 stormed the studios of Accra based Radio XYZ with gun wielding macho men.

He went to the radio station in search a presenter Salifu Maase, popularly known as, Mugabe for allegedly criticising him on air.

This led the police to extend an invitation to the popular preacher but the Crime Officer of the East Legon District Police Command, DSP Abena Benewah, told the Ghanaian Times newspaper that Rev. Owusu Bempah has not reported to the police station yet.

Meanwhile, the popular radio station, Mugabe was spotted at the police headquarters on Monday by the newspaper. He was at the CID Headquarters in the company of his lawyer, George Loh.

Mugabe was reported to have criticised Rev. Owusu Bempah over his alleged remarks that former president John Dramani Mahama was plotting to kill the Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and some government officials.

The management of the XYZ Broadcasting Limited who made an official report to the East Legon Police had since issued a statement to condemn the action of Rev. Bempah and called on the police to arrest him.

The station also tasked the the police to act to ensure the safety of their staff and Mugabe and the station as a whole.
