Ghanaian forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer scored for Hamburger SV in their 1-1 draw against Hertha BSC in the German Bundesliga 2 on Saturday evening.

The match, held at the Volksparkstadion, saw Konigsdorffer make a significant impact by opening the scoring in the 11th minute.

He headed the ball into the bottom left corner following a close-range assist from Bakery Jatta.

Despite dominating possession and creating more chances, Hertha BSC could not respond until late in the game.

Jonjoe Kenny equalized for Hertha BSC in the 86th minute with a right-footed shot from the center of the box.

Konigsdorffer has been in impressive form this season, having scored three goals in just two games.

Hamburger SV will now focus on their upcoming DFB Pokal match against Meppen on August 18th.

The winger, who has previously missed out on Black Stars call-ups, is keen to maintain his strong performance and strengthen his position in the Ghana squad.

His aim is to build on his experience from representing Ghana at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
