Ghana's Rashid Sumaila helped his team Al Qadsiyah earn a point against league leader Al Kuwaiti in the Kuwaiti Viva premier league game.

The defender who has been in tip top form this season earned the man of the match accolade his second this season in the league.

In what was a  top of the table clash between the two top teams in the league nothing could separate both sides at the end of 90 minutes.

Al Qadsiyah the home side opened the scores very early in the game through their Brazilain import Lucas Gaucho in the 5th minute.

The visitors missed a spot kick in the 25th minute to have pulled parity before Sissoko came to their rescue.

Before Malian midfielder Abdoul Sissoko equalized for the home side 6 minutes into the start of the second half.

Rashid Sumaila's display earned him the man of  the match for the game played on Friday night.

Al Qadsiyah are second on the league log with 8 points from 4 matches trailing table toppers Kuwait SC by 2 points.
