The family of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has dismissed as false a document spreading on social media that purports to be her last Will and testament.

In a firm statement released on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the family described the circulating material as a deliberate fabrication and urged the public to completely disregard it.

“The entire publication is a concocted fabrication and should be treated with absolute contempt,” the family said, stressing that the document did not originate from them or from any legitimate legal source.

They disclosed that steps are being taken to deal with those behind the false publication, though further details were not immediately made public.

The family also appealed for restraint and respect during what they described as a difficult period of mourning.

“The Agyeman-Rawlings family is still in a state of mourning and kindly requests the public and the media to respect the dignity and reputation of the former First Lady and grant the family the privacy they deserve,” the statement noted.

Signed by Kobina Andoh Amoakwa on behalf of the family, the notice urged Ghanaians to ignore unverified information being circulated online.

Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, a towering political figure and former First Lady of Ghana, remains widely respected for her contributions to national development and public life.
