Kasapa FM’s Newscaster, Akwasi Nsiah has rendered an unqualified apology to Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited over his comment claiming Food and Drugs Authority has been bribed by some big companies in Ghana to implement the ban on both advertisement and Live Presenter Mention (LPM) of alcoholic beverages in the media before 8pm.

Speaking to IBK, the host on “Yenna show”, Nsiah said his sources that provided him the information was wrong and on that basis, he apologized to GGBL for a false statement.

“We apologize for this mistake. As one of the Ghana’s most listened to mass media, we value and celebrate our listeners, We have long been a strong supporter of the truth and nothing else, so I we offended any of our listeners, clients or any company; we sincerely apologize.” Nsiah added.

The host of the show, Kwabena Antwi Bediako popularly known as IBK also apologize to his listeners and Clients for the misinformation.
“We love Ghana and everything we do, we do it for mother Ghana; if one way or the other we have offended Guinness Ghana or any brand, we sincerely as a station and EIB as a whole.” IBK added.

Akwasi Nsiah, the host Si Mi So on Kasapa FM mentioned Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited and other foreign companies in Ghana as those behind the implementation on the ban on both advertisement and Live Presenter Mention (LPM) of alcoholic beverages in the media before 8pm.
