Reece James has signed a new long-term contract with Chelsea FC, committing his future to the club until June 2032.

‎The England international, who rose through Chelsea’s academy ranks, said he was delighted to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge and remain part of the club’s long-term plans.

‎“I am over the moon to have extended my contract, Chelsea means so much to me,” James said after the announcement. “I have always said I want my peak years to be here, and I truly believe we have everything it takes to build on our previous successes.”

‎James has become one of the club’s most influential players in recent seasons, known for his powerful runs from right-back, defensive strength and ability to contribute goals and assists.

‎The new deal underlines Chelsea’s faith in the 24-year-old defender, who is widely regarded as one of the top full-backs in the Premier League.

‎For Chelsea supporters, the contract extension signals stability and a continued commitment to building a team around academy-developed talents as the club looks to challenge again for major honours in England and Europe.
