Member of Parliament(MP)-elect for Tamale Central Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed has asked Ghanaians to stop referring Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the President-elect.

According to him, the NDC has all pink sheets suggesting that John Dramani Mahama won the elections and that the NPP with the backing of the Electoral Commission allegedly rigged to favour Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“We have every pink sheets and document from all the collation centers across the country and we know Akuffo Addo did not win, we perfectly know. So stop calling him the president-elect but soon to be a former president.” He said when he spoke on Accra-based TV3 on a show.

The MP noted that deceitful leaders are a threat to the progress and unity of Ghana and the EC chairperson Jean Mensah is on top of that list.

He reiterated the stance of the NPP that suggests that the results as declared by Jean Mensa cannot be accepted because it’s fraudulent and not a representation of the views expressed by the Ghanaian people.

The NDC and its flagbearer has said that they cannot accept what they describe as fictionalized election results and will work towards ensuring that the EC declares the legitimate winner of the election.
