Asante Kotoko reportedly accumulated $110,000 as gross income from ticket sales from their clash against Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League on Sunday.
The Baba Yara Stadium was almost filled to capacity as Kotoko won 2-0 to ensure progress to the first round 4-3 on aggregate.
The Porcupine Warriors will face Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel in the next round of the CAF Champions League.
The first leg will be in Kumasi on the weekend of 13–15 September and the return leg in Sousse a fortnight later.
