Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah is confident that his former club will secure a victory against Asante Kotoko in their upcoming Ghana Premier League match.

The two teams will face off in matchday 13 at the Baba Yara Stadium this weekend in what promises to be an exciting encounter.

Hearts of Oak, who are on a three-game losing streak against Kotoko, are eager to break the cycle and claim all three points.

Attah, who previously kept three consecutive clean sheets against the Porcupine Warriors, is optimistic that Hearts of Oak will come out on top in this clash.

Speaking to Mo TV, Attah predicted a 2-1 victory for Hearts of Oak. "Hearts of Oak will beat Asante Kotoko; I foresee a 2-1 victory for Hearts of Oak on Sunday," he said.

Attah also expressed hope that current Hearts goalkeeper Benjamin Asare will follow in his footsteps and maintain a clean sheet against Kotoko, adding, “I want Benjamin Asare to continue my record of keeping clean sheets in all Premier League games against Kotoko, starting this Sunday.”

Hearts of Oak are currently sixth in the Ghana Premier League standings with 19 points, while Kotoko sit just behind them in seventh place with 18 points after 12 matches.
