Ghana's Right to Dream Academy celebrated their first victory at the 2024 Gothia Cup on Tuesday, July 16th, defeating Moldovan side Academia de fotbal Radu Rebeja 2-0.

This triumph came after a challenging start to the tournament, where they narrowly lost 3-2 to Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna in their opening match.

Undeterred by the initial setback, the U16 team from Old Akrade showcased resilience and determination in a dominant performance against Academia de fotbal Radu Rebeja.

Despite being younger than many of their opponents, Right to Dream displayed unwavering passion and strategic play, translating lessons learned from their first match into a decisive victory.

This win revitalizes hopes for the Academy, which aims to defend their title as champions of the Gothia Cup.

Having claimed victory over AIK in July 2023, Right to Dream is eager to build on this momentum and continue their winning streak throughout the tournament.
