In an interview on Happy FM, Acquah boldly stated, "We are more experienced than Dreams FC." He underscored the team's quarterfinalist status in the previous year's competition, emphasizing the substantial disparity in experience between Rivers United and their upcoming opponents.

Acquah emphasized Rivers United's seasoned history, particularly in comparison to Dreams FC, who are making their maiden appearance in the CAF Confederations Cup.

"We were quarterfinalists last year as compared to Dreams who are making their maiden appearance in the competition," he highlighted.

The team's recent convincing 3-0 victory against APC Lobito in the first group game has further boosted Acquah's confidence.
