2016 Grammy nominated reggae artiste, Rocky Dawuni has hinted at vying for the MUSIGA Presidency sometime soon.

The ‘In Ghana' hit maker however indicated that, that is not his next step as an artiste.

Speaking in an interview with DJ Advicer, he said: “I’m sure when there is the search for a new leader, there would be someone capable of, who will be able to do it. Yeah I’m the United Nations Goodwill ambassador for Africa environment and since I’m here the glory is still with us, so I will support and all that. For me, I don’t like to make speculations so I don’t know what my thought process will be.”

“ I think is possible for everyone but I mean the thing is that, you know is a role I am capable of doing but that is not to say that, it is not my next step as an artiste,’’ he noted.

Rocky Dawuni has worked with international foundations including Product (RED), UNICEF, the Carter Center, and the UN Foundation.

He also joined Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights’s Leadership Council four years ago and his tracks has been featured on the world’s most popular Games; “African Thriller” on FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014, “African Soccer Fever” on FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010.

Rocky Dawuni and Stonebwoy recently collaborated to create “Wickedest Sound”, a single from Rocky’s 7th album ‘Beats of Zion’, which is set to be released today, March 8, 2019 in commemoration of Ghana’s 62nd independence anniversary.

The single is a heavy Afro influenced production with a hint of Reggae and Dancehall.
