Maverick lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong has rubbished claims by Kweku Baako that Anas Aremeyaw Anas is not a secret lover of wife of murdered politician, asking 'can't you date your classmate?'

Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako waded into Agyapong's claims that Anas was behind the murder of J. B. Danquah-Adu with the wife of the late politician said to be the secret lover of the undercover journalist.

Baako said Anas and Ivy Heyward Mills are ex-school colleagues and knew each other for some time but denied any other relationship above being platonic.

“There is another which I find difficult but I must say…there is even an attempt to link Anas to the wife of the J.B Danquah and you ask what the consequence of that linkage is?," Baako asked.

"First of all, they were schoolmates from GIJ hope you know about it? There is a talk of a London that he might have traveled with the lady.

"No! Akwesi Sarpong from BBC who is a mate to Anas all congregated because they met at the same place,” he said.

But Kennedy Agyapong has hit back at Baako asking the Peace FM panellist if one can't be romantically involved with your former schoolmate.

"So is Kweku Baako saying you can't date your classmate? I know what I am talking about with hard evidence," Agyapong said on Boiling Point on Oman Fm on Thursday night.

“If he dares me, I will ask him if he knows Ivy, JB’s wife, and for how long…I will show him pictures from UK and Dubai…I am challenging Anas…,” he said on the show while questioning the style of investigations of the journalist.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest investigative piece, Number 1, will air on June 6. The piece seeks to reveal the rot in the sporting sector in Ghana.
