Sack or retain: Kjetil Zachariasen to know Kotoko fate today

The fate of embattled Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Kjetil Zachariasen will be decided today after a management meeting with the coach.

The Norwegian trainer went AWOL after the club's two nil defeat to Ivorian club San Pedro Fc in the 2nd leg of the Caf Confederations Cup play off.

Kotoko were eliminated and after that the coach was was reportedly told by some management officials not to travel back to Ghana with the team as they could not guarantee his safety.

The coach is expected to be shown the exit by the porcupine warriors with names like Maxwell Konadu and former coach C.K Akunnor been linked with a return.

In the last few weeks at has been a media battle on radio and in the media space between the coach's agent and some officials of the club Asante Kotoko.

The reds have been eliminated from two Caf inter club competitions all with the Norwegian as the trainer as it will be no surprise should Kotoko's revolving door policy on coaches open for his exit.

Zaxhariasen is the 9th coach to have been appointed during the three year reign of Executive Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei but a 10th may soon be coming.
