Chairman and Bank-roller of Greater Accra Division II side Madina Republicans, Moro Mohammed has passed away.

The budding football administrator passed on Sunday morning after several months of battle with illness.

Mohammed has been suffering from the illness since June 2019.

His final funeral rite will be held on Sunday afternoon at his family house in Madina- a suburb of Accra.

Chairman Moro Mohammed has done massive investment in Madina Republicans that has yielded great results with many of their product currently plying their trades in Europe.

He recently constructed a state of the art training facility in Aburi in the Eastern Region where the club spend most of their time.
