Workout routine Most of his movies see Salman in a hulky avatar. But the most surprising and awe-worthy transformation happened in the movie Sultan, where he turned a wrestler. Since he had to gain muscular weight for the role, he also trained in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) for a while. More than the food, he made changes to his exercise regime.

Diet plan For an effective workout, it is important to prioritize and focus on what you eat too. Salman, a self-confessed foodie, who loves to gorge on desi khaana and Italian cuisine had to cut back on processed and sugary items ever since he started training under a strict coach. His healthy diet looks something like this.

Breakfast: The actor starts his day by hitting the gym. Reportedly, he has four egg whites and low-fat milk in the morning.

Lunch: His lunch usually includes five chapatis, grilled vegetables and salads to make it nutritious and light.

Dinner:He eats two egg whites, with fish or chicken along with a serving of soup.

Pre-workout/post-workout snack: Salman Khan loves protein shakes and drinks it regularly. When he gets hungry post his intense workout sessions, he usually snacks on oats topped with healthy nuts or a protein bar.
