Smartphone brand Samsung is all set to launch its flagship Galaxy S10 series smartphone. It was recently teased on e-commerce platform Flipkart. The Flipkart banner mention the date and time of the event and has a ‘Notify Me’ button for the interested users.
As per the banner,
Samsung Galaxy S10 ‘Unpacked Event’ will be organised on February 21 at 12:30 am. Notably, the handset will be unveiled at an event in San Francisco, California.
Earlier this week, a promotional image of the upcoming launch was leaked online. As tipped by the leakster Roland Quandt, Samsung is also planning to launch Airpods rival wireless earphones -- allegedly being called Samsung Galaxy Buds -- at the event at a price of 149 euros (approximately Rs 12,100).
In the leaked images, the alleged Samsung Galaxy Buds were placed on the top of the rear panel of a Samsung smartphone. It is reported that the smartphone is none other than yet-to-be-launched Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. So, it is also expected that the new lineup will feature reverse charging as well, using which the Samsung Buds could be charged.It is noteworthy to state here that according to Gizmodo, the feature will be called ‘Powershare’.
As per another report, the Samsung Galaxy S10 series of smartphones will go on pre-orders soon after the launch. Reza Naufal, a Twitter user posted on the micro-blogging website that the smartphones will go on pre-orders in US on February 21. It is also rumoured that the handsets will go on pre-order at the same time in India.
In a related news, the company has unveiled its new Galaxy M series in India. It has launched Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 with a starting price of Rs 7,990. The smartphones will be available in a flash sale on February 12.
