Ghana's Samuel Asamoah has extended his stay with Belgian Jupilar Pro League outfit Sint Truiden after several overtures for his signature in the summer.

Due to his impressive performance last season, there were several clubs interested in the Ghanaian attacker but his club managed to hold on to their prized asset.

The Canaries on Wednesday announced that they had extended the contract of Asamoah which was due to end in 2020 by a further year.

After signing the contract, the attacker could not hide his delight at staying put with the canaries.
