Asante Kotoko’s new signing, Samuel Tenadu, has shared his enthusiasm about joining the club, describing it as a significant moment in his career.
The defensive midfielder completed his transfer to the Porcupine Warriors on Wednesday, July 31, after passing a medical examination.
“I am thrilled to sign with the biggest club in Ghana. Having spent a lot of time in Kumasi during my early football years, this feels like coming home.
I am eager to get going,” Tenadu said in a statement on the official Asante Kotoko website.
Tenadu's arrival is anticipated to strengthen Kotoko’s midfield as they aim to improve on their performance from the previous season, where they finished sixth in the Ghana Premier League.
The club has been active in the transfer market, offloading 21 players and signing over 10 new faces to prepare for the upcoming season.
The Porcupine Warriors are looking forward to bouncing back strongly in the new season, and Tenadu's addition is seen as a key part of their efforts to build a competitive squad.
